Implementing an Energy Strategy

The US Government has made available through their Energy Star Program an evaluation and assesment program. This program is called Guidelines for Energy Management and is designed to help facility managers and owners devise an energy strategy, and implement a plan to improve energy and financial performance based around the following steps:

• Step 2 Assess Performance
• Step 3 Set Goals
• Step 4 Create an Action Plan
• Step 5 Implement the Action Plan
• Step 6 Evaluate Progress
• Step 7 Recognize Achievements

Enercient Systems Technologies has decided to focus on step 2 in our early stages, to provide a system and a means to measure, evaluate, and capture real-time data from our customer's facilities by providing a wireless monitoring system, and the means by which to analyse the information gathered, in order to work with a local contractor to make educated decisions based on the gathered data.
